For more than twenty years, Rudy Project has been designing and producing technical sunglasses, goggles and accessories for sports.

Conceived initially for athletes, Rudy Project glasses rapidly became widespread amongst a vaster clientele, thanks to the combination of aesthetic features and the exceptional visual comfort and protection that they offer. DIRECT IN-FRAME SYSTEM

The vast majority of our sports glasses are designed to fit prescription lenses (RX). The RX-friendly nature of Rudy Project’ s makes it possible to practice any sports activity, even the most extreme, while maintaining perfect visual acuity.

OPTICAL RX INSERT (SNAP IN, SNAP OUT)

For our more technical sunglasses (e.g., Ketyum, Rydon, Freeon, Ekynox, Kerosene, etc) that cannot support a direct in frame RX, Rudy Project has created “clip-on” RX optical inserts that can be snapped in behind the polycarbonate Rudy Project lenses. Thanks to our patented ‘easy-in easy-out’ system; our clip-ons can be inserted or removed with ease. This is particularly useful when you want to wear your contact lenses or when cleaning.

ImpactX lenses

ImpactX is stronger than any other lens material, guaranteed not to break or crack, even in complex rimless frame. They are available in Photochromic lenses which provide unique climatic management technology, getting dark from low to high light transmission within a few seconds. The Polarized Photochromic enhance contrast and depth perception while providing unparalleled eye protection.
